Melbourne – FAW Trucks Australia has strengthened the infrastructure behind its local rollout, bringing together dealer and service representation across key eastern seaboard and south-eastern freight markets, nationwide roadside recovery through ISS First Response, and parts supply from its national spare parts centre in Hallam, Victoria.

Through appointments with RGM Maintenance, Adtrans Truck Centre, Adtrans Sydney, JRB Group and Hartwigs, FAW Trucks Australia now has dealer and service representation across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra and Shepparton.

The company has prioritised established and experienced dealer partners as it continues to build its Australian presence and give operators clearer pathways for sales, servicing and parts.

For operators, the development is designed to answer a practical ownership question: what sits behind the truck once it is on the road?

FAW Trucks Australia General Manager Cheng Zhang said the company’s local network had been built around the realities of truck ownership in Australia.

“Truck operators need reliable backup beyond the point of purchase,” Mr Zhang said.

“That is why we have focused on experienced dealer representation, nationwide roadside assistance and dependable parts supply as part of the ownership offer.”

ISS First Response provides a 24/7 roadside assistance layer for FAW customers when a truck requires help outside a dealer radius.

Parts availability is supported by FAW Trucks Australia’s national spare parts centre in Hallam. The company also partners with Team Global Express for parts delivery, helping provide a reliable supply pathway for its dealer network and customers.

The same ownership focus underpins FAW Trucks Australia’s recent J7 campaign, which includes a 5-year/1 million km comprehensive warranty and 3 years/450,000 km of free servicing on eligible J7 vehicles.

Mr Zhang said the warranty and servicing offer strengthened the total cost-of-ownership case for Australian operators.

“Keeping a truck productive is central to every operator’s business,” he said.

“Our dealer network, roadside assistance, parts supply, warranty and servicing programs are all aimed at that priority: helping operators keep vehicles earning as more FAW trucks enter operation across Australia.”
